General Requirements:
  • Work experience in software engineering/developing
  • Ability to develop well-designed, testable, efficient applications/tools/methods/algorithms
  • Ability to design and develop relational and/or graph databases
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications
Preferable Skills:
  • Semantic Technologies (e.g. RDF, SKOS, OWL, RML, R2RML, SWRL, JENA, RDF4J, LOD)
  • Programming languages (e.g. Java, Python)
  • Machine Learning algorithms’ understanding
  • Natural Language Processing technologies (e.g. Stanford CoreNLP API, GATE)
  • Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) frameworks

Knowledge or willingness to learn and work on (one of the topics):

  • Knowledge/Ontology Engineering: Human-centered engineering of Knowledge Graphs
  • Semantic Data Management/Linked Data
    • Semantic data access, integration and interlinking
    • Knowledge graphs analysis and visualization
  • Internet of Things: Semantic modeling of trustworthy IoT
