General Requirements:
- Work experience in software engineering/developing
- Ability to develop well-designed, testable, efficient applications/tools/methods/algorithms
- Ability to design and develop relational and/or graph databases
- Ability to document requirements and specifications
Preferable Skills:
- Semantic Technologies (e.g. RDF, SKOS, OWL, RML, R2RML, SWRL, JENA, RDF4J, LOD)
- Programming languages (e.g. Java, Python)
- Machine Learning algorithms’ understanding
- Natural Language Processing technologies (e.g. Stanford CoreNLP API, GATE)
- Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) frameworks
Knowledge or willingness to learn and work on (one of the topics):
- Knowledge/Ontology Engineering: Human-centered engineering of Knowledge Graphs
- Semantic Data Management/Linked Data
- Semantic data access, integration and interlinking
- Knowledge graphs analysis and visualization
- Internet of Things: Semantic modeling of trustworthy IoT
